‘Tailgating’ – no not at the ballgame but at the back gate.
We continue to have occasions where vehicles (without AWID stickers) are following our residents through the back gate just slipping in as the gates are closing. We refer to this as ‘tailgating’.
This process of sneaking in isn’t just our resident families following, but more significant others, such as contractors and other visitors trying to avoid using the front entrance. This is trespassing and Security will issue tickets to the perpetrators. It’s Security’s responsibility to maintain our neighborhood privacy.
Our new cameras are working and we now have the ability to record license plate numbers and take pictures of the vehicles that ‘tailgate’.
If this happens to you, please report it to security. Do not attempt to be the village police.
